Since the dog has given the best years of it's life and so many litters, isn't the best thing to do is care for them the rest of their days? Sorry if this is offensive to any good breeders. |
I'm sorry to offend anyone. I have loved yorkies all of my life and the only way my husband would agree to let me have one is if I could get a litter a year out of them to sell. After she didn't get her teeth we decided not to use her for breeding. It would be totally irresponsible to breed her when she is going to pass on poor genetics. However, she did end up preg. This will be
her first and only litter.
She's not retired breeding stock. We love her dearly: but, but my husband says that our agreement was that she would have to be able to breed so she must go. It breaks my heart, but we don't have a big enough home to support a ton of dogs. My dogs probably get more love than alot of yours. I stay home all day with them, and don't leave them home alone all day and only care about them the couple hours I'm home in the evening. This is very hard for me and don't need to be critisized
