My mom always used to "sneak" Olivia bits of meat under the dinner table when we went over for dinner. She's kind of stopped doing that during the meal and waits to give "treats" to Olivia and her 2 dogs when we're finished eating. Olivia knows she can beg all day and won't get a thing from me. She may do the "I just want to sit on your lap" thing while I'm eating, but I always put her to the side. I know that people food isn't good for her, and since we aren't able to go for walks during the winter, I don't want her fattening up from people food. (Like her momma does! )
