The smell of fresh coffee brewing is the most comforting smell in the world to me. Makes me think of family.
The smell of new carpeting brings back vivid, warm and fuzzy memories of a very happy time for my family -- all the way back when I was 4. New home, new baby brother born, and I picked my bedroom and played with my Barbie dolls on the carpeting all night.
