Unfortunately, the "large female with smaller male" formula is only about 1/4 of the problem....it is what is BEHIND the two dogs that were bred....what lines/dogs are in their pedigrees.....that are the major determinate factors in what you are going to get from that union. If there are large yorkies behind that male, plus the large yorkies that are apparently behind the mother, you are going to have large babies.
