I've been doing a lot of cooking lately. So, I'm sitting at my desk and I rested my chin on my hand and noticed a very faint smell of sweet onions, I closed my eyes for a second and a quick picture of my Grandmother chopping onions came to mind. She was my Mom's Mom...she always had a garden and her and my Mom would do a lot of cooking and canning. We had the biggest house so the holidays were always there and Grandma would come a day or two early to help get all of the food ready.

Normally the smell of onions would be offensive but not for me...it brought back a good memory.

What smells bring good memories for you?

Well, I misspelled association in my title but I can't correct it :/
