My grandmother used to breed toy Poodles and she would go crazy when people would refer to them as teacup. "THERE'S NO SUCH THING!!" I didn't think it was THAT big of a deal at the time because, hey...we always add adjectives to nouns, right? Harmless.
And then I grew up and realized why she would get upset. :/
I used to try and correct people but now I just smile and nod and think they're an idiot. Ok, maybe not THAT harsh, but a lot of people are. :/
