The enzymes have proven to be very effective if used on a regular basis. I feed my cats kibble so they need the enzymes in the water. Gracie is two and a half now and her teeth are perfect. If you keep the teeth clean and have them checked by a vet yearly you should be able to prevent a lot of the problems some Yorkies have with their teeth. Make sure you are feeding them things that do not contain corn or any type of sugar.
