Jeanie - You are so well-read and knowledgeable about dogs. I love it!! That completely makes sense to me and really looks like what my dogs are doing. Thank you for that explanation

I'm sorry about the loss of your Golden, but that was an awesome story. I can envision the cat's reaction clearly in my head. hehe
