Brody still has a few dark patches, but his hair is lightening...the patches are all that remain of the darker hair. My understanding is that after they lighten up, they do not return to a full dark blue coat.
That may be me.... I took Nala to the vet last Jan because she had a black spot, and it was hair color. I posted pics of the spots in that thread. The vet said Nala would probably be a very dark yorkie. She is now 2 and the black spot has turned the same golden color of her head and is still fading. She is now mostly silver and gold.
