Great work! Such neat stitches!

I wing it when I knit. I've never figured out how to follow a pattern. The only way I'm able to knit something for ZoE is because she's right there with me & I keep holding it up against her. And I don't think I've ever knitted any two things exactly the same way. I keep saying I really need to write down what I do....but then never do.

You have me curious with the English & Continental comment. Is it the way you hold your needles & wrap or pull yarn? My Grandma is German, and she taught me to knit as a young child, but my Mum also taught me too. I never realized it wasn't the same way, until my Mum will look at one of my latest projects for ZoE and she'll say things like, "oh, there you did a few rows like your Grandma"...she says she can tell my the slant of the stitch. Probaby explains why sometimes my creations don't look as neat as they should.
