Yes... My sis taught me the basics or crocheting, but I can't remember anyone teaching me how to knit. Just followed the instructions in books and on You tube. My neighbor has crocheted for years, a lifer, lol. She's been giving hints and tips to improve my crocheting. But she doesn't knit (I wish she did).
