First of all, you are the most loving community. Thank you so much for your thoughts & prayers. Here's an update:

PIXEL was a trooper all during surgery; no complications with the anesthesia. It lasted longer than they expected and was more complicated than we thought but the oral surgeon was truly amazing. (She is extensively experienced with tiny pups since oral issues are common with toy breeds; however, Pixel is the smallest on her list by a few ounces). PIXEL came out of surgery with no problems other than lots of pain & discomfort. Today is the third day and he is 90% back to normal. During surgery they found a baby tooth that caused oronasal fistula which is my greatest concern at this point. Hope it heals as best as possible. It was quite deep.

PIXEL has my heart and with lots of love and the watchful eye of this over-protective mommy, I'm confident he'll continue improving. Again, than you all for your concern. Meant so much and has made a mark in my heart forever.
