I moved here from The UK. It took some adjustments for me to find the things I like and need. As for the puppy, there are litterarly NO pets shops at all. I mean NONE!! The priority here is people, as the average income is about 300 Dinar, which is about $120 per month. (The economy is adjusted to fit the average income of course.) They simply can't afford pets. There are pet owners, but they tend to be those who are better off financially, but as they work long hours for their money, there isn't time for pets I guess. I mentioned it took us Two Years to find a yorkie here. They tend to go for the rotweilers and dobermans as guard dogs. But I'm not sad! LOL I love it here, and when you know where to find things and how to improvise, it's all good. Mitzi is well fed and happy so far, she eats African food, lol. She seems to love it, her favorite at the moment is Couscous. I have a calcium rich cheese now, its natural goats cheese, its similar to cottage cheese, but the african equivalent.
