Warning: I am sorry to be a downer, but there are many, many, many scams like this on craigslist. Get the phone number, google it etc., don't invite them to your home until you are sure they are who they are. Sorry, but I would ask to meet them at your vets where you can all go in together for a checkup and your vet can vouch for your integrity. I know many folks who have done it this way.
