Like everyone said, you can get them chipped at most any time =) It probably would be more convenient to have the micro-chipping done while you're already at the vet for shots or spaying/neutering. Probably the sooner the better, though. If she gets lost, or heaven forbid stolen, being micro-chipped might be the only thing that gets her back home.
