Not rude at all, better safe than sorry.
Scoobers licked his incission, my Vet was closed that's what they said to do in the middle of the night when I called and then gave ne the first appointment in the morning.
Wonder if it was just because it was an emergency safety measure and he's a he so the procedure is different-my vet used liquid band aid over him the next day and later when I had my female spayed vet said liquid band aid was no good to cover her incission while they did international disolving stitches the external stitches on my female had to be removed by vet later.
