I got my pup at 6 weeks old. She had just had her first shots that day. I took her to my vet immediately and he said 6 weeks was too young and would have no effect. He had me bring her in at 8 weeks for her first shots (again) and back at 12 weeks for the second set and 16 weeks for the final set. Hope this helps.
