Auto correct can easily be turned off, but most times it is really helpful because it recognizes words often halfway through the spelling of the word. I once wrote to a close friend that I would treasure something she gave me. Instead it substituted the word trash. I caught it before I sent the message, but now I mostly proofread anything I write. |
