Brody and Mia do sometimes react to doorbells, etc. on TV and unknown sounds...like me accidentally and painfully whacking a knuckle on the coffee table, or the bed headboard at 2 am.
They are set off sometimes by a cat jumping down off a chair, someone walking or bicycling by the house, or a cow on the other side of a fence. Brody is pretty intolerant of any kitty getting 'dibs' on Mommy's lap or even headed in my direction. Mia can be set off by the shadow of a breeze-blown blade of grass.
I do not think your Yorkie's the only one capable of crazy making barking!
