Maggie got sore last year when she got all her shots, rabies and the combo...This year she didn't need rabies and I had read that it is the L (lepto) that can cause them to react so we discussed it and decided she didn't really need it. She got DHPP (no L) and bordatella. She still reacted the same, so it wasn't the rabies or the L. I think hers was partly pain from the injection and some reaction to the drugs themselves. (humans often feel a little sick after vaccines too.)
