I have tried ones you get at dollar tree for human hair they were too big for Sadie's silky hair also tried the ones made from string kinda like a scrunchie. Finally I realized my youngest daughter has braces and we have a ton of elastics for her . I started using them today and they are perfect I did use ones for dogs they were too thick it was either too loose or too tight but now I'm using my daughters elastics but rest assured she won't miss them I found 20 small bags full lol
