Yep Scooter does the same. I have 2 feral cats that I feed and although they have been coming to the front door for over 2 years Scooter still throws himself at the door (it's glass) whenever he sees the cats. They just sit there and look at him. I know they are saying to each other "look at that stupid dog". He also does that whenever anyone comes to the door. They all get a kick out of him but say they are glad he's not a Rottweiler. Anyway he's my tiny but very noisy watch dog.
