My 2 youngest kids have never shown any allergies to dogs. They play with my friends 3 dogs as well as dogs in our neighborhood. The past week when we've played with some dogs they've gotten some red splotches and hives.
Tonight my friends 2 westies and 1 scottie caused a reaction when they haven't before (and they had all been bathed recently). No sneezing, itching eyes or cough, but I am worried about this skin reaction and if it could progress into something else. We were just getting ready to add a puppy to our house
I'm planning on putting a call into the allergist tomorrow. sigh
