When I bathe Mandie's top of her head, I use a cup for the water (not the sprayer). This way I can control where the water goes for the most part. I do bend her ears down and hold them to her head while I pour the water over (I also cup my hand around her head to shield her eyes so with the my fingers I hold her ears down.
Water will sneak in there though. The first thing I do after I towel dry her is use my hair dryer to blow the insides of her ears. After I do that, then I brush and blow dry her.
