DON'T GIVE IN AND IGNORE HER! She needs to learn that this is not proper behavior. Bouncer will still sit at the end of the table to this day (he is 4), but he will NEVER get up and make a scene or whine or make one sound about it. The sitting there is fine with me, but once the begging starts, I won't have it. You might try finding someone else to take care of your baby while you're gone as well. Though your parents mean well, they just don't understand. Good luck!
