Dear Luma,

My sweet, precious little girl is ONE YEAR OLD today! The big "1"! Luma, you've changed my life. I can't even remember what I was doing before I had you. I've watched you grow from a tiny 2 lb black and tan baby, learning your first tricks, stumbling up and down the stairs. You always kept us laughing. Each day you grow more beautiful and get sweeter! You make a friend in every stranger you meet. Everyone loves you because you LOVE making people smile! I'm so lucky you're mine! Thank you for always staying by my side when I'm sick or sad. Making me laugh when I need cheered up. Putting up with the hundreds of pictures I take of you, and ALWAYS being stinkin' adorable

Today we're going to go to the park. First time since you got hurt. You get to do what you love most: RUN!! and DIG!!! and CHASE!! My silver bullet! I love you SO MUCH and happy birthday little girl! Here's to many, MANY more years with you in my life!
