My Belle has a patch of darker, coarser hair between her shoulders and another by her hips. I'm 99% sure that its a vaccine reaction. She just turned two on Nov 1 and won't be getting any more vaccinations until her rabies is due in 3 years. The darker hair is a completely different texture than the silky hair on the rest of her body - it bothers me that something that was supposed to be beneficial to her actually caused a visible physical change. I worry about how else she may have been affected.
