also, no don't worry, don't panic. As I said, make the appointment and ask for an xray. It hit me right away when you mentioned hop because that is exactly how I described it....xrays revealed the problem and we were able to get a very good Ortho specialist. Mini had no signs nor symptoms prior to this...she also did not seem to be in pain at all.

Legges Calves Perthes...Mini did not show the signs commonly described, all she had was a hop.

Please don't panic yourself, it could be anything. I would, until you get to the vet limit any jumping. Remember it could be anything or nothing.
