Tea tree oil can be toxic to some dogs. I would just avoid it. Most essential oils are safe for dogs. I think olive oil might be a bit much for a Yorkie coat though unless it is a really good quality.
The poor dog is going to feel so much better once she has a bath. I'm sure you will, too. Too bad the shelter didn't take the time to bathe her before they did the spay. |
