Hey guys,
I have a 2 year old male yorkie. He has had anxiety issues from day 1 and we have come a loooong way for sure. But about 7 months ago he started marking a couple of spots in the house. I thought we were getting better....but I introduced another 5mo old male into the house about 3 weeks ago. His marking has gotten out of control. I knew this was coming... I do have a 6 yr old female and they all seem to get along great now. He use to only mark if I was gone from the house. I do leave a male diaper on him when I am not at home. I go out of my way to give him alot of attention since he is soo insecure. My question is.. has anyone ever used a dog behaviorist/ trainer for this issue?? I just dont want my other puppy to pick up this bad habit from him. I have thought about leaving the diaper on him all day, but it is kinda bulky and he doesnt like to weat it all the time. My vet seems to think this is all tied into him being secure and his anxiety issues. I do have Xanax for him, but I only use it if he is going to be in a stressful situation. Any suggestions?? ...at this point, I am going to have to rip up the carpet in my bedroom due to the pee stinch
