I really like Fromm (if you can find it locally...it's only sold at independent pet stores). They have a puppy formula in their Gold line but all of the formulas in their Four Star Nutritional line are formulated for all life stages. We have been rotating Toki through the grain-free varieties since the end of April and I'm very pleased with this company. We throw different brands into our rotation but always have Fromm on hand and come back to it.

I also like Acana (what my sister's yorkie eats) and have had good results with Blue Buffalo Wilderness for puppies. As a pup, Toki came to us from the breeder eating Earthborn. We eventually transitioned her to Blue Buffalo Chicken and Oatmeal for puppies and then to BB Wilderness for puppies (available at major pet store chains). There are a lot of options out there...I know that others will have good suggestions for you as well!
