I have no problem with the long coat in the shower...either with the Yorkies or the Shih Tzu I am puppy sitting for that I just bathed yesterday in the shower. It actually works maybe better in my shower because the shower head is a little wider than their backs so all the water just goes straight down. I stand all of them on their back legs up against my legs to rinse off their undersides, but their parts down their back stay intact until they start a'fwippin'n'a'fwoppin'n'a'plowin' after the shower is over waiting for the dryer to start blowing.
