It's a source of comfort for me to feel him at my feet. I notice i miss the lump at my feet when i cant travel with him.
Huey couldn't jump onto the bed either. We couldn't stand watching him jump and hit the side of the mattress 4 out of 5 times (persistant bugger), so we bought him some doggie stairs. He was scared of them at first, but now runs top speed up and down them and is usually asleep in the bed under the covers when we get home. Talk about bed hog!
