I guess I am the mean mommy. Wallee just turned 9 months and he still sleeps in his crate in my room. Since we have 4 cats who are very active at night I find it easier to have him there in his quiet place. He has two beds in the living room that he crashes in at night but he is restless if he's up past his bed time. When I go to bed he follows me into my room and goes straight to his crate. My only problem is that he does the bulk of his eating at night and with the coyotes here and dark nights we don't walk at night therefore he has been waking very early to poo most mornings.
