Limited registration means that the breeder has placed a restriction on the registration that would prevent any pups produced from that dog to be registered. The dog would also not be eligible to compete in conformation events. Breeders usually have a very good reason for doing this, and have evaluated the pup as a prospect before it left their care. Limited registration pups should not be bred.
