I personally follow Dr. Dodd's vaccine protocol. I do the initial puppy vaccines (DHP at 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, then rabies. Repeat at one year old. Don't give any more vaccines for the lifetime of the dog, except for rabies by law).
I do not give any non-core vaccines. CORE Vaccines for a canine (should be given to all dogs, unless a medical condition warrants otherwise):
*Distemper
*Hepatitis
*Parvovirus
*Rabies NON-CORE Vaccines for a canine (should be given only when a dog has risk factors for the disease which exceed the risk of the vaccine):
*Corona
*Leptospirosis
*Lyme
*Bordatella
*Giardia
*Parainfluenza
