Just picked up Coco two nights ago and have conveniently been home for the last two days so haven't had to leave her alone. We have set up a baby gate in the kitchen and plan on keeping that area dedicated to her. We have her little bed set up and pads on the floor at opposite end of the kitchen.

Current problem is the poor thing cries and yelps when we put her in her kitchen area and gate it off to go take a shower etc. I know part of the process is getting her used to this and so a certain amount of crying is going to have to happen...but I'm worried what will happen when we are out of the house for about 4 hours tomorrow. Just let her cry? Help! Thank you!
