Well you did not do research on the right sites I'm afraid any site that knows the Yorkshire Terrier knows it is VERY important for them to stay with there mom until 12 because of things they need to learn. I would suggest checking out the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America they put lots of research into make sure what is done is right for our breed. Big dogs and little dogs are very different. Also there is lots of false stuff on the internet so just because you researched it on the internet does not mean that is what is best.
