I am the same way and do my best to avoid taking medicine.. In fact I do not take what the Dr wants me to take daily. Both my knees are bad, had right knee surgery Aug 03 then Sept 04 left knee Aug 05 and then July 06 and right knee Sept 07... Need both knees again but refuse. The disc in my neck which when you see my neck X-rays it is backwards C. And as if that was not Enough my pituitary tumor likes to turn in fibro for fun lol
But I refuse to let it control me, I still went out tonight with friends for a bit just bite my inner cheek and move on
