i was at the dog park today and i overheard a college age girl talking to other pup owners and when they asked her what kind of dog her's was.. she said it was a japanese chin for the petstore.
she said she had a yorkie before this pup and that she couldn't handle the grooming so she gave the yorkie away! then she went on to say how she just couldn't kepe up with the grooming and how she "loved" yorkies but she thought they needed too much time. well fricken duh! but i hope she realizes that any dog takes time. i feel this new pup of hers wil just end up being given away and then next story she tell will be... "oh i love japanese chins but they are so needy so i gave mine away and just got this New pup from...." i seriously wish you had to have like an owners license before they let you take care of the pup. and if for an invalid reason you "gave the pup away" you are no longer allowed to own any animal.. ever! grrr
she's lucky i didn't hear the rest of her conversation otherwise i may have been arrested for battery and assault. thank you for letting me rant
