no rawhide is not digestible.. from what i have read you need to look for the best quality rawhide and limit chewing time to 1 or 2 hours per day.. my dogs actually chewed their longer than they were supposed to so i will remedy that next time..
with the best quality rawhide the dog will not be able to bite off large chunks. the rawhide will wear down slowly .
