The next day I just used washable pee pads.

She did pee on my rug in the bathroom twice but my puppy is not fully potty trained yet. So that might be the reason. But she has been very good with carpeted flooring in the rest of my apartment.

I wash and dry pee pads with my regular detergent and drier sheets.
My question is where does everyone store their used pads until the next wash? I am trying to store them in the closet container but when I open this container it has extremely strong urine scent.
I only have 5 washable pads right now. So I wash them every other day - or every 2 days. I rinse them nightly in my utility sink & then soak them in a bucket of a mix of warm water, unscented liquid detergent & a splash of baking soda overnight. I rinse them again before I throw them in the washer.
