I'm happy to see you got him to the vet and he's getting treated. Are the antibiotics in pill/capsule form? If so, you could mold a tiny bit of cream cheese around it. That's what I had to do for Mandie. Then, immediately have a tiny piece of the cheese ready to go right behind it so she doesn't try chewing on the first.
I agree with adding fiber. The first time Mandie was constipated, it hurt her so bad..I didn't want that to happen again. So, I've always given her 1 carrot stick a day. I also give her green beans sometimes. She loves both and thinks they are treats.
