Gracie is a heat hound. She is always trying to cuddle with someone when it is chilly (72 or under) But when it is time for a walk she is ready to go. We have over a foot of snow on the ground so we have had to shovel an area for her to walk in the yard. I walk her along our road. She doesn't seem to notice the cold at all when she is outside. I have never tried boots on her. I doubt she would go for it anyway. She is good about her coat and other warm wear.
I do wrap her up in a blanket when we get inside until she is all warmed up.
If Wallee is having trouble walking in his coat he may go no where in his boots. As long as you keep him out of the salt he should be OK in his bare feet. |
