Seymour had ACL surgery this past summer. It went very well. He had to be confined to no running, jumping..... etc. We had an orthopedic specialist do the surgery. She also did some LP repair while she was in there..... awesome job. He didn't require a cast or bandage and the surgery incision looked clean and wasn't a bother to him at all.
I, too, suggest you get another opinion.... torn ACL's don't "heal on their own".
