That is extremely irritating ... imagine the horror that young child would experience if she were to find her dog run over by a car in the streets ... or the heart break she would experience if her dog were to go missing .... Not to mention the horrendous pain the dog would go through!
I really wish that adults that make the conscious decision to adopt a dog (EVEN IF THAT DOG IS FOR THEIR CHILD) would have more common sense! Not to mention enough responsibility to properly take care of the dog and watch out for its well being.
Way to go to you for getting the puppy out of the street & thinking of the child first as well!
