It is excessive. In their defense, they have been friends since they were 6 years old (they now are 54 - a coupe of old codgers).

I have always been a one pet at a time kinda person. But Yorkies are different, they capture your heart unlike any other. I want another one.

Mrs. Beasley wants all of my attention. But she fusses and then settles down around dh's bloodhound. She s the same way around my son and daughter in law's yorkie.
