I wouldn't be too shocked about what they are made of as compared to the kind of things that are going into your dog's kibble. And you can be sure "bully sticks" in another form are going into your dog food as well. Pet food is not made of choice cuts of meat. Any part of the animal is considered "beef" or "chicken," etc. as far as pet food is concerned.
Bully sticks saved my home and probably my dog that was a terribly destructive chewer during her first year. She was always finding and stealing things to chew up. I was really concerned that she would finally find something that would hurt her. Once she latched onto a bully stick I never had destructive chewing again. |
