So glad you found a vet that you are happy with. Hard to find one that you can fully trust. I have been SO lucky, but I have had to use others when mine is off and I see the difference.
Well they did say she would wake right up and no recovery time. She doesn't even think it will need stiches. I suppose she needs to start cutting it off to remove it.

I noticed another black spot on Daisy's nose too but this one is flat. I'm worried she has multiple melanoma sites.
