My groomer found a suspicious area on Daisy's foot. I took her to the vet last night and she said it is most likely Melanoma. We have her scheduled to take it off next week but I can't help but worry. They said in dogs they are not usually a problem unless in the mouth. So my vet feels Daisy will be fine.

I hope my little girl does ok during the procedure. It will be a conscious sedation in the office and will not require her to go under gas anesthesia but there are always risks especially in a 12 year old sickly yorkie.

Anyone else have to deal with this??
